The Advanced Cyber Specialist Course (ACSC) offers an intensive training programme designed to equip professionals with advanced cyber skills and expertise.
Covering key areas such as Python programming, computer networking, operating systems, network forensics, and incident response. The course not only provides participants with a strong foundation in networking and computer security fundamentals, but also with specialised knowledge and practical skills to effectively lead teams in monitoring, identifying, and assessing events within networks, responding to cyber incidents, performing threat analysis, and recommending solutions to eradicate risks.
In addition to covering essential cybersecurity modules, the course provides deeper and wider cyber skills training, with a longer duration to explore modules in greater depth. Participants learn penetration testing, enabling them to conduct comprehensive security analysis and identify potential vulnerabilities attackers may exploit. The course is also designed with scenario-based exercises meant to evaluate individual proficiency at selected milestones.
Upon completion of the ACSC, participants emerge as skilled cyber specialists ready to address complex cyber challenges effectively, and safeguard organisational assets against evolving threats with confidence and proficiency.
The annual ACSC course will run for 15 weeks.
